license verification in CA

hello to all. i have read a few threads regarding how long it took CA BON on either posting or mailing official results.

in my case, it's only been a week but the wait is agonizing so i called BON to verify. the person i spoke with said my SSN wasn't on my file and although he asked for it, he is still asking to have me fax it to them.

the PVT indicates that i passed, but i'm certain anyone would still like the official results.

i'm not really sure about the process, if faxing SSNs are at all SAFE.

has anyone been on the same boat as i am?

please HELP. :bluecry1: thanks in advance!

Faxing should be OK otherwise you could post it to them (or deliver it if you are near them)

Would probable do something like this

Please add my SSN to my file and this is my SSN 123456

Name

silverdragon102,

shouldn't the brn have our ssn (social security #) from our application (for the live scan service)?? when i sent in my application and request for an ip, i included it. i'll give the brn tomorrow and see if there's anything wrong with my file.

If you gave it on your application then they should have it but things can be missed and often are missed

Don't worry, I just called BON and they said that my SSN isn't on file either!! I've been waiting an agonizing 9 days and FINALLY!!! they tell me there's something wrong. The lady was very kind and said I just have to fax a copy of the front cover and I should get results by NEXT WEEK! (since they're closed on Fridays now). I've waited long enough, the PVT still works and I just want some resolution and be able to sleep throughout the night w/o waking up at 3am, 5am, and 7am checking the website! The lady also told me to make the fax ATTN: Leshell just in case. Just like HIPPA, double check the fax number BEFORE you hit send! Hopefully we'll know soon!!!
