So I just received a letter in the mail from the Texas BON stating:
”Our file reflects that all requirements of the Confidential order entered on ___ have been met. This Confidential Order shall remain confidential unless you commit a subsequent violation... etc.
But the thing is, I have only been in TPAPN for 7 months when I signed a 3 year contract. What could this letter mean? That I’ve successfully completed the remedial courses and enrolled in TPAPN? This was not a self referral into TPAPN, it was board ordered.
Any interpretation of this would be helpful.

I think you should call whoever you have been talking to and get confirmation. I suspect that the letter was sent in error and I would want some type of confirmation lest it come back to haunt you later.

That’s the letter I got after 5 years in TPAPN. You may have won the lottery!

Did you go through a lawyer or just by yourself? If you lawyered up, have them ask for you. Otherwise I would call the case manager...TXBON is not known for happy surprises but I hope yours is a happy surprise.
It turns out it was a "clerical error" on their part. Imagine receiving that letter - calling the case manager for the board of nursing that is listed on the letter, she confirms, then you let your TPAPN case manager know, who then clarifies with the board - who THEN realized they made a mistake.
I am pretty upset now.
You have a right to be but remember when you give youself over to resentment you shut yourself off from the sunlight of the soul
