I have applied to Technical College for the LPN program that starts in March. I have talked to them and know I got in but they said that it will still be another few weeks before they send out the letters. Even thought they have told me that I got in I still want the letter to make sure that nothing messes it up. Plus the letter tells us when our orientation is. You may try giving them a call and see if they can tell you anything. Good Luck

Ivy Tech is different................they tell you nothing until the letter arrives.

MrsFrog,

Where did you end up applying? I only got to apply for the transitional at the Mucnie Ivy Tech. I ran out of time. And I too am on pins and needles, waiting w/ drool on my face for the mail man every day. I hope someone reads this that was in the muncie and will let us know. But in reality, they probably send the letters out different each time, depending on how busy they are and how many applied ect. Anyway, Good Luck, and keep us posted on how it go's.:nurse:

I got my acceptance letter for the Richmond transitional program on Feb. 14th!!!! I also applied at Muncie but haven't heard from them yet. (not that it matters...lol. I wanted Richmond.)

Spider11

Was that for the transitional RN or the straight through traditional RN? I too am still waiting to hear from Muncie for the transitional RN. This is not fun...LOL..Good Luck to you in the program.

OOPS..Spider11...Just noticed you already said transitional...LOL..SEE how crazy this waiting is making me? LOL

Jill:angryfire

ok...Spider11..One more question...May I ask you what your TEAS score and grades were that got you in? Maybe that will give me some peace of mind. Or at least know if i'm being realistic at having a chance.

Thanks,

I just spoke with Bloomington Campus, the secretary for the nursing and she said the letters go out next week. They have 30 days to send them out.

Only 20 applicants will be accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so funny MrsFrog....I called the Muncie campus today and the secretary told me that they haven't sent any letters out as of yet for the trasitional. But that is all they would tell me. So at least I am relieved that noone has gotten one. But still just a crazy waiting. Yes, come join the crazy club!
