LACC Spring 2020

Anyone know how many alternates they picked? Thank You. Would appreciate any info~

Hey guys, so the day I got the email telling me I was an alternate,,,I emailed within the hr to confirm to continue being considered....AND I also asked if I could have my number on the list. I think the desk person hadn't gotten that memo about keeping stuff hush-hush since they did tell me the number. lol I'm #33.

My guess is that they pick 40 in their alternate list. I read some threads from recent other semesters for LACC and someone mentioned being #37 and he kept going thru with the mandatory orientation trainings and eventually became #3 on the list, just shy of making it in for the semester.

I called within the hour as well and they told me they were not giving out the alternate#'s. I wonder if they decided to give then out. Thanks for the reply.

When you accepted the alternate spot did you reply to the email too or did you just call? I replied to the email only and I called an hour ago to see if they received my response but the lady said she couldn’t access it right now and would have to call me back after 2:00.

For those of you that got accepted did you ever receive a confirmation email that they got your reply? I replied to the email and accepted my spot but never got anything back.

I never received an confirmation email after I sent out an acceptance to the program email. Did you pay for the classes already? Fire safety and Assaultive behavior?

Not yet. Have you? I was planning on going Monday or Tuesday.

If you haven't heard anything by now make sure to call them. I was not emailed or called after the lottery drawing last week. I just called them and they said I was accepted but I need to email a counselor that I accept my spot. This was all at 1pm and deadline is today at 5pm (friday nov 8th)

Yes, I payed mine yesterday.

I was accepted as an alternate. I emailed confirming and asking for my alternate number and they gave it to me

That’s great! What number did they say you are? They didn’t give me a number. I’m going to email them today to ask.

When did you email them? I called on thursday and they told me they were not giving them out. Hmm..
