My advice is: Chill out a bit and take the test now.
Over 85% of first-time takers pass the test so the odds are in your favor and it sounds like you've already been studying a bunch.
I don't know that you can ever feel ready; I certainly didn't. As I was taking the test I didn't feel like I was passing it. And yet, 75 questions in one hour and I was an RN.
The vast majority of people pass. Unless you have severe problems taking tests, you probably will too.
I'm running comprehensive tests and taking notes on whatever questions I don't understand during the test. That way, if I accidentally get it right, I can still look up the drug or procedure afterward. Then I look at the areas that I got lower scores in and read through those sections in my review books.
Only reading the book doesn't help me retain the information well, but if it's meaningful because I just wondered about it during a test, then I can keep it in my brain much better.

I've been reviewing on and off for 3 months now. I'll be employed January 2011 and I would like to take the NCLEX before I start working. I finished reading Saunders comprehensive (textbook not q&a) and lacharity. now i'm reviewing ncsbn online review. do you think this is enough for me to pass? do i have to take a diagnostic test somewhere? what percentage should i get in kaplan q trainer? I get 60%+ on that review. please give me some advice. i might be rushing into taking the exam without the proper preparations..
