Kaplan QBank

Published

To everyone who has been checking in on the forum, I know I'll sound very silly for asking... but you know what they say, "He who is afraid of asking is ashamed of learning."

where do i find the Kaplan QBank? ive been hearing a lot of buzz about it but i dont understand where to find it. is it part of their course? do they also offer that here in the US? there are a lot of materials by Kaplan that's on the forum such as Kaplan Strategy Book, Kaplan Course book, Kaplan trainer. with all these, i'm getting all confused.

please advice. thank you:)

thanks for the website wannabenars. i've actually just found info about it a few minutes ago. im still confused though, why is there a step 1, step 2 ck, step 3 and complex qbanks??? i feel that it's too many to choose from. yet all they say here is Kaplan Qbank?

if you go to the bottom part where it says supplemental you can see the qbank and you can click on that if you wanna purchase it. they have other kinds of reviews if you want videos, etc. read the descriptions and decide which one fits your needs. if you just want the qbank and nothing else then you can just get that. :)

arytee... thanks again! :)

Hi i have a question for those who used kaplan, can you share your overall score in qbank and if you passed or not, thanks!

i haven't enrolled to their course yet but i will be this May. by then, maybe i'll be curious myself as to how the others score to practice tests (/ qbank). *hehe* but i'll keep u posted:) also i heard, those who took the course were only on the 50-60% scoring range, but passed the NCLEX:)

The important thing is to answer the questions and study the concepts, not to get too tied up with the scores, because like it was said, one can score poorly yet still pass the biggie. Good luck.

thanks guys, coz this qbank think is messin with my head ...ill keep you posted too hope to take mine soon.=)

just what caliotter3 said..

the scores are not enough to say if you'll pass or not

a lot of people only had 50%-60% scores in all QT and QBanks

yet passed the test with 75 questions.

just focus on the questions and rationales

answer like you're doing the exam itself..:)

i got a question... how do you answer practice questions?

which one is effective? exam mode first ? or study mode first...??

thanks..:redpinkhe:redpinkhe:redpinkhe

i have the cd but i haven't tried answering them yet. i'm sort of following a certain schedule and i'm still currently on Saunders. but Saunders too, has a study and exam mode. when i want to assess myself, i would use exam mode. it's actually more fun cos you get to know which concepts you need work with:)

hope this helps:)
