Just waiting....

So I ended my NCLEX around 2:30pm two days ago. I heard it's 48 hours on the nose from the finish time to get the quick results. Checking every 15 minutes is NOT helping matters at all! I did do the PVT and got the good pop up, but ya know...still wanna see "PASS"....urgh....fly time fly!;)

You will soon see.

Good luck! Keep us posted! What state are you in? Some people have noticed their name on the BON site before they paid for their quick results. Have you tried that?

congrats on good pop up!

what resources did you use?

what kinds of questions did you have?

how did you study?

I'm in NY, and have been checking that, but nada!

OzTiz-I watched all the Kaplan lesson on demand content review videos. I also did about 1500 questions over the last 4 weeks. I did the 3 weeks NCSBN course, but did not like it as the review was all reading, where Kaplan was video teaching's. As far as questions, I didn't do as many as I wanted as I kept scoring low (50-60's) and it made my depressed. I pulled straight A's in school yet coldn't pass a freaking NCLEX quiz to save my life. So I focused on review. As for the NCLEX, it was all priority; who would you see or call first, and what should the nurse's first responce be. Tons of infection control; what type of PPE should you wear for a patient with whatever illness, and things like that. I had maybe 3 Peds, 7 or so mental health, lots of SATA and some delegation and colaboration questions, like which patients would you refer to a social worker or home health nurse. Very basic stuff we covered in nursing school. But for me, I found Kaplan to be the BOMB! I thought NCLEX was just like the Kaplan questions.

wow thanks! that was really helpful! congrats to you again!
