Just started EC

Published

I just started to study for NC1 any advise on what materials are best. I got two of the text books so far. I had a huge mix up at Amazon so I'm waiting untill next to purchase more books. The real question I have is the study guides I down loaded the free one from EC checked out ebay for study guides without success. I'm curious about TCN I'm the type of learner that the more I can get a hold of to read the better off I am.

I feel a little nervous about this because I gave up a seat at a brick and mortar school. I feel I can do this much faster and I am used to studying on my own from the military. I just would relax a little with a black and white guide. For example study this topic etc.

I forgot to introduce my self. My name is Rebecca and I am a LPN. I love being a nurse and want to upgrade to RN. I have read over posts here and it has eased my mind on the decision to go ahead with EC

For the NC exams, the practice tests from EC always seemed to help me a lot. I didn't use any publishing companies, but used the practice exams to figure out where I needed to focus in the textbooks.

Hi guys, I'm looking forward to enrolling in EC. I contacted them a couple weeks ago but they said I need to be licensed as an LPN. I've graduated from LPN school in May...still waiting for my ATT...it's been almost six weeks since I've submitted it. The wait is dreadful. OK...I want to know, what should I do in the mean time? I have enrolled in a brick and mortar school for the fall to do A&P2. What do my nursing buddies suggest I do? Can I take any other classes at EC while I wait to be licensed?

You can take NC1 (you won't need NC2 when you are an LPN) and other courses like Microbiology and Information Literature or whatever that class is called. The NC3-7 are the ones you need to be enrolled for. Good luck!

Hey Rebecca! My name is Mallory, and I'm an LPN too! I'm looking into getting my RN with EC. Did you go though the college network? how do you like it so far?
