Found out my college went to all online textbooks and learning plans. I just buy the online textbooks and can access them anytime, I can highlight in the application, share with classmates...im loving it! It's about half the price of hard textbooks and I only have to bring my laptop to school. Im going all digital this year!

I'd be furious. I love tech stuff and am a gadget freak, however, I am old school when it comes to my books, they MUST be paper, something I can hold and write all over.
You are able to print the chapters :)

Sounds uber-cool!!!! Did they also upgrade the availability of charging stations in classroom areas??? Otherwise, if you're not the first one there, all the plug-ins are gone. Maybe that's part of the master plan to get everyone to class early, huh?
I have been trying to remember the name of a very neat plug-in app that let's you create 'sticky notes' that you can place on a digital page... very helpful for ebooks. My poor old brain is pulling a 404 (file not found) right now.. I'll re-post if/when I remember.

I have about 10 textbooks in e format. The rest are hard copies. My Cox's clinical applications books is proving to have a learning curve though since the pages are different than what is listened in the table of contents.
Then THIS makes it awesome! Works for everyone!

Hope you have permanent access to the digital book you purchased, as you may need them down the road! Many etexts were doing yearly subs instead of purchases.
Permanent access for all books! its awesome!

I'm half way through my program so I'm not switching to ebooks when I have the hard copies. The new class is all paperless. Our brand new campus has an Ethernet port and outlet for each student. We are a green school!

That sounds like a really cool plan, but I prefer hard copies. The computer is my biggest distraction and if all my reading was on it, I'd get nothing done
