Medical Assistant

Willowbrook Mall Area

Growing group seeks MA to work as float nurse in back office. We seek an experienced office nurse to handle growing patient load. Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and patient education skills.

Sorry, I couldn't help but get a little tiffed at this ad. Since it is so difficult to get into an RN program around here, and I need to get back into the work force, I am going to start applying to LPN programs too. Thought I'd search for what LVN positions would be available in my area and this is what came up.

I know, I know..... :deadhorse

I think I'd be tempted to forward the ad to your state's BON.....I'm sure they'd be interested in this.

Great idea! Hmmmmm........

Maybe they're seeking a nurse (LPN/RN) who is willing to work as a medical assistant--ie no assessments, no IVs, injections, med admin, etc. Less responsibility, but likely less pay.

lol, or they're just mixing up nurses with MAs

Theres a fun thought! :uhoh3:

I guess this shows the facility's true colors of planning to replace actual nurses with cheaper techs and assistants.
