Has anyone purchased their textbooks yet? Do we really need to get what is on the entire list or can we just get the skilled nurse bag from the bookstore and the nur111 book bundle? I didn't see any books listed for nur226. The nur111 bundle with ebook only is $1055! That is insane and I don't qualify for financial aid- yikes! This is all adding up really quickly with uniforms, shoes, and all the other nursing supplies we need. I know it'll all be worth it but I am overwhelmed right now with the sticker shock.

Yes I am also using a laptop. SO I emailed L. Mueller and asked about the books and she said we need exactly what is on the booklist for the first semester. I am unsure of what exactly is needed because the book list says, "includes student learning system," as well as mentioning that simchart and simulation learning system-rn are included in the above bundle. I haven't seen any of those listed while looking. There are no ISBN numbers so it is really confusing. Anyone have any insight on the books?

Good morning everyone!! So, I've tried on so many shoes and the winner is: Skechers Dlites. They are a bit bulky but super comfortable. $44 bucks at famous footwear with retailmenot promo code.

I'll be using a laptop as well. I imagine most people will be, especially with e-books.

Yikes! I knew it was going to be expensive, but I wasn't expecting that much. I'm going to have to figure out how to swing that I don't qualify for aid either that I know of. I can't believe that they (whoever "they" is) can charge that much for a book. Seems insane.

So I talked to a friend that is also in the program, and she said that it was her understanding that the books for 111 are also the books for 236, which is why there isn't anything under that course. Which softens the blow of the price a bit.
