JTCC Spring 2017 RN Program

If you don't mind me asking, where did you see the schedule ? I would like to look at it but I can't find it on the JTCC page.

I am familiar with the site but just found this thread!! I was accepted to the spring 2017 nursing wave as well! hybrid! I am excited and look forward to meeting you all. CONGRATS!

I got in!!! Apparently my email for JTCC isn't working, so they had to send it to my back-up email. Traditional track. And yes, I'd love to know where you saw the schedule.

Has anyone recvd info on orientation next friday?

I haven't, I figured we would get something next week.

Hello! I was wondering what type of shoes you all were planning to get? At orientation they said no canvas shoes- so no tennis shoes . I have seen many nurses in those clogs that have the backs- they are leather, I will try to link them below. They are not that cute and seem so old fashioned to me. Maybe I am just vain! HA! Supposedly they are really comfortable and that is why so many people wear them but I have also heard they charge a fortune for them! Any shoe advice would be great! They are called Danskos

Congrats to all those who have been accepted for Spring of 2017!!!!! I wish everyone much luck and success....including myself lol. Sweat, blood, and tear might bring us all together. I look forward to making lifelong friends and nursing partners. CLASS OF DEC 2018!!!!!

Hey...I read the nursing handbook and it said black or white athletic shoes. Did u see much on the website you posted?

Hey you guys....uniformcity.com has the wine colored pants and shoes. For those of you how wouldn't mind wearing Sketchers, shoe show has some nice solid colored one.

At orientation though the professor clearly stated no canvas shoes allowed. Maybe I will email and ask since the nursing handbook asks for something else. The professor stated no canvas shoes because we will need to be able to wipe off feces, blood, urine and breastmilk! athletic shoes would be so much cheaper than danskos though for sure!

Ok cool. I think it has to do with the material of the shoe. Canvas is like converse.....definitely not easy to wipe. Most slip resistant shoes are made out of that leather like material. That's what we need.
