Does anyone feel that joining the American Assembly for Men in Nursing is a good thing. Has it been helpful for you or others? If so can you tell me and explain?
Thanks.

I haven't, nor will I.
In my opinion, there is already too much divisiveness in nursing, without adding this.

The only benefit I've seen is at the local level, you get to network with other nurses and your presence in the community encourages other men to enter the profession.

Being that we make up 6% of the nursing population (per Johnson & Johnson), I would think there is probably some benefit to having a nationally recognized voice. That being said, I don't know very much about the AAMN specifically.
