I am extremely happy to report that I have been offered a job as a nurse graduate on the unit that I love. Its so exciting because I don't even graduate nursing school until December and already I don't have to worry about searching for a job! To top it off its a day shift position. I am feeling very fortunate right now..to all the new nurses out there job hunting, please know that there is hope!

Congrats! I've been a nurse 26 yrs and just got a dayshift job after many years of nights and swing shifts so you should feel mighty happy to get one so soon! That's wonderful!!!Now all you have to do is pass the boards!

Awesome and I am glad that you recognize and are grateful for how lucky you are. It is really stressful when school ends, you have your license but still no job. I was lucky enough to find one within a couple months. Hooray for you, and a little advice...Keep it to yourself and a few close friends because news like that is guaranteed to stir up a little jealousy with your classmates. Congratulations, that is so exciting!

Congratulations!!! I too graduate in December and have a job offer (It feels amazing, doesn't it?), but am not sure about the unit for a new grad. I have two more interviews today so we shall see how it goes.

That is awesome....BUT....not to be a naysayer but....
Until you have a signed job contract it's not yours. I keep hearing about people being offered jobs verbally, but then don't hear from them again.
Get it signed sealed and delivered asap!
