Job Interview Question

job-interview-contact-management-hr.jpg.c89f8659ece2d6e1f29dfed3cf1df84e.jpg

The hospital I interviewed at had joint commission that day. The manager seemed very pre-occupied. I was nervous, she left pretty quickly after meeting me, and I failed to ask when I should follow up. It has been a week. I am not certain the manager really got to know me as a person.

When should I contact HR? I did write a follow up letter  (the day of my interview) and the manager responded that she would keep me posted. Thank you!

Since you already wrote a follow up letter (good!) and the manager said she'd keep you posted, you should wait one more week to reach out.

When TJC is in the house, all other business fades to the background. It's possible she's doing follow up to the survey. Or just plain catching up because the survey put her so behind on her work. Who knows?

At any rate, in one week, you could contact her with "I'm just following up to let you know I'm very interested in the opportunity. I'd love to tell you more about myself and how I can help your team" or something of that nature.

Good luck!! Let us know how it goes ?
