Jeff State Fall 2012

I noticed there were threads for the other semesters, so I thought I would get this one started. There's another week until the deadline, but I've finished everything I can do. Now it's just waiting.

I'm hoping to start the fall semester at the Jefferson campus. If I did the calculations correctly, I have 205 points on the checklist. Good luck everyone; I hope to see you this fall.

    I came here to see if anyone had gotten an acceptance letter yet but I guess everyone is in the same boat as me. I am on pins and needles too. Does anyone know what the points cutoff is for fall 2012?

    I have a friend who recently graduated from Jeff State Jefferson campus nursing program and he said the biggest factor in passing or failing nursing school is perseverance. He did warn me that the Shelby campus program is tough but he didn't say why. He said just hang in there...no matter how you feel, no matter how much studying you got done or didn't get done, no matter how many people it seems are against you, no matter how much sleep you've lost. Perseverance. Keep going back until they tell you to stop. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

    Ah! I haven't gotten a call yet! What does your student information say online? On portal.jeffstateonline.com when you look at student records and then student information? I read in a post for a previous semester that your status changes on there if you are accepted

    Under "Curriculum Information", next to "Program:" it says "AS Nursing". I don't know if it said that before or not. But I would give it a couple of days. I don't imagine they can get in touch with everybody in one day.

    Okay, thanks! That's what mine says too but I am not sure if it has always been that or if it changed. I just hate the anxiety of waiting!

    Mine has said AS Nursing since I applied to Jeff State before I even submitted my nursing application. I received a call today so it didn't change so I am not sure how that works.
