Lovet,My fiancé and I got an apartment in Birmingham so I am not looking for a roommate but I was just wondering where you are from in Georgia? We live in Kennesaw right now and went to Kennesaw State University and he is going to grad school at UAB for epidemeology and I am going to the Jefferson campus for nursing.

i got in to the full time program! i had 188 points

dreamer27, did you apply for full time or for part time? i would assume the two different programs have different cut offs which could be why. i applied with 188 to the full time program and did not get a call or email on friday so if everyone heard back on friday then the cut off had to be 189..

Okay, thanks! That's what mine says too but I am not sure if it has always been that or if it changed. I just hate the anxiety of waiting!

Ah! I haven't gotten a call yet! What does your student information say online? On portal.jeffstateonline.com when you look at student records and then student information? I read in a post for a previous semester that your status changes on there if you are accepted

Ive heard from a lot of people that it's almost impossible to work and go to nursing school at the same time, just because nursing school is so time consuming.

I spoke to a lady that works in the office at Jefferson and she said that for the full-time program the cut off was around 176 previously and the advisor told me that we should hear back the first or second week of July. That's a long time to wait! Does anyone know about how many people applied to the full-time program? I know someone said that around 700 applied to the part-time..

I applied with 188 points so I am very nervous since that is so close to past cut offs. I actually do not live in Alabama but was looking to move to Birmingham with my boyfriend whom is starting grad school at UAB in the fall. I looked on the fall 2011 thread and they found out at the very end of June. But I hope we find out sooner this year!
