IvyTech Fall 2016

Creating this thread because no one has yet!!! But with that being said, here's a little bit about myself. I live in Dallas currently but will be moving to Indiana in a few months to attend IvyTech for their ASN program. I have one son and I'm very proud of him! This is why I'm going to nursing school to ensure I can take care of him. I haven't taken my TEAS test but I will soon. Who else has taken their TEAS test? What campuses are you applying to? What points do you or will you have once your finished with everything? I'll be happy to see everyone's responses and I look forward to being on this nursing journey with you all.

I've met plenty of nurses who have horrible bedside mannor, no one likes working with them and they can drag a floor unit/team down.....and I've met nurses who are in it because it "pays well", opposite side is that there are many many amazing nurses as well. Tests don't show everything in paramedic school our instructor always said he would rather work with someone street smart than book smart. There really should be a better balance for assessing potential students.

I applied to the RN program in South Bend for Fall 2016. Hoping I make it in. All of my prerequisites and co requisites are complete. Only need the 3 nursing semesters.

Applying with a 133/160. The science section on the Teas really did me in. All A's in my prereqs.

I'm applying with a 140! The science was tough! It's going to be a long two months!

I'm in my last semester at the SB campus. Good luck!

I'm in my last semester at the SB campus. Good luck!

Thank you. I'll need it.

I applied to a few Lpn and one Asn program before the deadline of April 1st. I wish I would have had a better score but I I'm hopeful for at least one acceptance letter. It would drastically change the life of my children and myself. I am always so busy but I do the best I can and want better for my family! Anyone else out there waiting??

Which campus did you apply to? Good luck!!

Applied to lawrence, anderson & new castle RN & LPN programs with a 120/160.. hopefully that gets me in somewhere sucks because my TEAS could have been better. Goodluck

Applied to Lawrence, Anderson and New Castle with a 120/160 for both LPN and RN. Sucks because my TEAS score could have been higher. I just hope and pray that score gets me in somewhere . Goodluck everyone

They arent labled as bad. . But why accept a B student when everyone else has A's? Lol. People know what the stakes are so they shoot for A's. Its a competition. So there not necessarily "bad" as much as not good enough. Ivy tech is the cheapest in the state btw.. Good luck yall

I'm waiting too, I only applied to Bloomington, because I don't have the option to travel far.I applied with all A's and a 88% on the TEAS so my total score was 148/160. I wish I had something to do to distract me but prepare for the fall. I am working on looking for any immunization records, since upon acceptance those will are needed...it's something to do. This is a looookng wait.....being patient will be hard. Countdown to May 30th has began.
