Ivy Tech - Fall 2012

I check the Ivy Tech message boards multiple times a day. And now that I see some of the scores being posted I am really freaking out!

I know every campus has a different pool, but it's still scary to see someone who has a score slightly higher than yours get an alternate letter!

Next week can't come soon enough. At least I have Advanced Human Physiology to keep me busy while I wait!

got my letter today from Columbus and got accepted into ASN! :) i couldn't believe they came so early. i applied to sellersburg and bloomington as well and even though columbus is my third choice....i can sleep easier knowing i will at least have a spot this fall. my score was a 173.3

does anyone know where columbus does clinicals? this will be a big determining factor for me if i get accepted to one of the other campuses.

I saw on the Ivy Tech message board that Indy is supposed to start sending out their letters TOMORROW! I so badly want to know if the ONE campus I applied to is sending theirs out early but I'm afraid to ask! lol

Well just got off the phone. They didn't give me much...other than letters have NOT been sent out for Evansville campus, but they should go out before the 31st.

I contacted the Fort Wayne campus (I couldn't contain myself) I spoke with the Dean, and she stated that letters will go out at the end of the month unless final grades get posted before that!

WTH, final grades were due a week ago! I can't believe I have to wait 2 more weeks!

Okaaaayyy... if they are not sending out the letters right away, then that's their prerogative... but the Dean should at least do us the courtesy of coming up with a believable reason. If they are too busy to get them done yet, that's fine; just be professional about it. my complaint for the day. :)

Seeing other campuses letters going out is making the wait seem that much longer! I'm so ready for Lafayette to send their letters out already! Do you mind me asking what your scores for acceptance were? Thanks! Getting so nervous.

I see that the Marion campus has also sent out letters. Knowing that 3 campuses have sent out letters and that mine might still be 2 weeks away from being sent makes the wait 900 time harder!

Lafayette is now saying that the letters won't go out until the first week of June...originally they had said on or before May 30th....bummer.

Oh no, that sucks! I've never understood what takes so long (besides waiting for final grades to be turned in). I've tried to rationalize it, but still don't understand. If you apply for Spring, you know within a month of the deadline!

A simple Excel template could easily be used to enter the information and sort by score. All they would have to do it create formulas to figure the scores and such.
