Uniforms
Ours are hunter green scrub pants (with elasctic waist ) and a fitted white button up top with hunter green piping down the front and around the sleeves. I just wish they would have done something different with the tops...for someone who has broad shoulders or larger chest..you have to get an oversized shirt just to keep the buttons from popping open..so you either have to deal with worrying about your top opening up on you or wearing a shirt that looks like it swallows you! Ahhh such is life!!!!

Ivy Tech - Fall 2012
Hmmm...I graduated in 87, I wonder if the school corp. would have your records? Have you checked with your local health dept. I'm not sure what year, but the state at some point started keeping track of vaccs. Well if you can't find them...the titer isn't too bad, it's one blood draw(with several tubes) and they can test for whatever you need. I wish that all the campuses did that...It sure would make things a lots easier and less stressfull!

You might check with the high school you went to...that's how I got my records. Of course the chickenpox vac wasn't around when I was a kid and only 1 MMR. I got my titers, TB, and tDap done monday; had my tb read today and of all the titers I got, I'm good on the HepB, rubella and mumps, still waiting for the measels and chickenpox to come in. I think once I get all that info uploaded and sent in I will be able to breath

Ivy Tech - Fall 2012
Just wondering..for those of you who have been to orientation, how overwhelmed were you with all the info given? I went last week, the upfront costs were a little shock ( I knew there would be some, but didn't expect it to be that much :icon_roll ). All the info that has to be scanned and uploaded and attached and completed before I can even register for classes has me nervous, but other than that...wasn't too bad.

How many much older (40+) students out there starting classes? (I'm 47)
I have read that some of us 'seasoned' students are going to be starting nursing programs this fall (or entering soon).... Where will you be starting your program? I will be starting my ASN program at Ivy Tech in Evansville, IN in Aug. and will turn 43 in Sept. :yelclap:

College Algebra
I took the 136 last semester. I kinda struggled with it...math isn't my strongest subject, but somehow I managed to get a B in the class. My only advice is don't get behind on the mathlab homework and quizes. As far as the book, we went through ch. 1-6 then skipped to ch.12. If there is anything I can do to help just shout at me :)

Ivy Tech - Fall 2012
So I called campus again...and I'm not sure what to think. The girl I work with said she got her letter Saturday (mind you, I didn't ask what it said..just figured if she was excited and talking about it; it was good news). The woman told me today that letters have NOT gone out. I explained to her because my co worker had received a letter I was beginning to worry that maybe I missed something on my app. She then told me that some letters had went out...but they were not acceptance letters (and she left it at that). should I think that maybe they sent out denial letters first? and I haven't gotten one..which is good, right??!! UGGGHHHHH this is driving me crazy!!!

Ivy Tech - Fall 2012
I was wondering....if you apply to both the ASN and PN, and didn't get in to the ASN but got into the PN would you get a denial for the RN and acceptance for the PN or would you just get the acceptance letter....or if you get into the ASN do they even bother sending out a letter for the PN. Just curious...I have sooo many scenarios running through my brain! lol
