L8 Breaking

I'm so excited.....I've been dreaming of the day for years. I'm trying not to develop too many expectation, so that I can be open minded! Goodluck to everyone.....

Congrats to all those who have been soooo patiently waiting the last few days. I got my acceptance to both Sellersburg and Bloomington for ASN. I will be declining Bloomington and Columbus, so goodluck to alternates in both of those regions. What a journey this is going to be.....BRING IT ON! :)

i'm waiting on b-town and sellersburg as well! fingers are crossed for the accelerated program at sellersburg, so i can finish a semester quicker..... goodluck to you!

got my letter today from Columbus and got accepted into ASN! :) i couldn't believe they came so early. i applied to sellersburg and bloomington as well and even though columbus is my third choice....i can sleep easier knowing i will at least have a spot this fall. my score was a 173.3 does anyone know where columbus does clinicals? this will be a big determining factor for me if i get accepted to one of the other campuses. hello all.....isn't the wait fun? lol i have applied for ASN at Sellersburg, Bloomington and Columbus in that order. i applied with all A's and an 83.3 on the Teas. I was shooting for an 87% but the science section was really tough! i really hope i make it in. i turn 40 this summer and i've dreamed of being a nurse for a really long time.....i spent too many years afraid to give up a good job and pursue my dream, so i guess it's now or never. goodluck to all who have applied.....i know why there is a 2 month wait, but waiting is not my strongpoint!

hello loulou55.... i will be finishing up my a&p 102 and math 136 this fall. i plan on applying next summer or fall for the rn program. i've only done one online class, but so far i've been very happy with ivy tech. please let me know if you have specific questions..... melanie

hey all......i'm new to the boards, although i've been lurking for awhile. really appreciate all the info that this site contains! Where are you from? southern indiana What type of program are you applying for? (ADN, BSN, MSN etc...) adn at ivy tech cc Are you applying for spring or fall? summer or fall 2012 What you going to do while you wait? (Besides check your email/mailbox every 10 seconds) trying to complete as many pre- and co-reqs as possible, working pt and study for the teas test. very nervous about the science portion, because i haven't had chem or biology in 19 years. Anything your doing to prepare yourself for what's coming ahead? read, study, sponge up as much info as i can and imagine myself fulfilling the dream of becoming an rn. :) ohhhh yeah....spend some time with the hubby, kiddos and dogs while i have the free time!
