IV nurses for LPN's

Where can I take an IV course for LPN's and about how much does it cost? It is not offered at my facility. Thanks for any info.

start with your nursing board. You need to take a course that is accredited by your board.

The BON is the place to start. Some places LPNs do IVs and some places they don't. In SC I think it was about the mid 80's when our hospital started. After that the couse was included in orientation.

Check at a local community college. That's where I did mine. It cost $125 for IV and Phlebotomy certification and I got 30 CEU's for it.
