It's Nurses Week!

Is your hospital doing anything special?

Mine's holding the annual nurses breakfast. This year the cutbacks are showing. No hot food, only continental. No bacon, no pancakes. I suppose they could say they are being heart healthy???

    We had a pancake breakfast this morning just to kick things off. I was just coming off of a 12 hour night shift so pancakes looked good.There is stuff going on all week.I think one of the days all shifts get pizza and there is a dinner Wednesday night(but you have to pay $30, I passed). I think one day there was ice cream from Dairy Queen too.

    I always wonder....how the hell did they manage to wear their whites all day without getting noticeably dirty? That is an art in itself!
