5 items

i want to see the scrubs you design :)

Hello everyone, I am currently a design student working on designing new scrubs to help with your organizational needs.

What I am wondering is...What are the top 5 items you must have with you at all times while at work.

Ex. pen...highlighter...charts...stethoscope.

My main focus is all floor nurses working in the hospital setting, but all feedback is appreciated!

From a male RN perspective....so dont read too much into this and dont make your scrubs pink!!!

1. Gotta have pockets ( I feal lonely w/o them), I wear a fanny pack even w/ cargo pants.

2. Pens ( @ least 2 ball point click types and maybe a highlighter )

3. Stethoscope w/ tape roll.

4. Lots of small stuff in said fanny pack ( alcohol wipes, hemostats, line caps, coins for vending, a calculator/ Spanish translator....)

5. Thats it , thats all I need...and this chair and lamp, thats it ! Just this chair and lamp . And this ashtray. And my dog, come on $#it-Head...:rotfl:

I have compiled the top 5 items for floor nurses and here are my results.

1. one or more pens

2. stethoscope

3. scissors

4. tape

5. alcohol swabs

....close to the top five included note pad, and money

Any final considerations??
