Hello all,
I am new to this forum. However, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to resolve my transcript issue. I am a new nursing BSN graduate. However, I cannot take the NCLEX nor start working as a GN until my school releases the transcripts.
Problem is, I struggled to pay my way through nursing school and still have an outstanding balance of $6K. My school will not certify the degree until they are paid in full. I tell them that I cannot pay the debt until I start working, but they won't hear any of it.
At this point I just don't know what to do. I have exhausted every angle, every possibility--aside from the military. Might anyone have any suggestions? Anything you could offer would be most appreciative. Thanks!

Sheesh - that's tough. Have you looked into something like taking out a bank loan, paying the school with it, then paying back the bank when you go to work?

Try something like myrichuncle, loantolearn, parents, family, etc....If you're going to pay it back when working, so be it. I owe one to family for 18000 at 1.5% yearly, so I'll be paying that back for a few years right out of school...
