Isolation

How is everyone handling the isolation room from the CDC? My school has no extra space and building an isolation room in my current office is not feasible.

My district is enforcing that, if there is not an extra designated space, admin (principal, AP, etc.) will have to give up their office and create it as a designated isolation room.

Is it possible for the school to maybe get a small classroom trailer? I've never seen them until I moved to the South. When schools need extra classrooms, they add small outdoor trailers with air/heat and desks to replace the missing classes until the district can add on to the schools.

It does also need access to a full, separate restroom. If a trailer can also provide that, I'd think that might actually work well.

To do this at my school, we actually are taking over a smaller sub separate classroom that is next to what is usually a student restroom. That restroom is now isolation-use only. It is also located very near a side exit that is usually fire exit only, but we will be using it for dismissal from the isolation space.

I believe the ESE Department and PE Coaches will be moved into a trailer and I will keep my current location.

They have restrooms.

They should add another one and make it the isolation room.
