hello everyone! i am done with my very last class and am now taking all the exit exams. i am just starting to "really" use saunders q&a review pn and have been getting pretty low grades. when i take the 100 questions exam, i would get somewhere in the 70's.

those of you who used these nclex-pn reviews and had passed the nclex, were you always getting high grades when you were doing your nclex practice tests?

thank you for reading my post.

For what it is worth...I got very low scores when using the Saunders Q and A. I am talking 50's. In some ways I think it was a hinderence because it really knocked my comfidence down a few notches. I passed my NCLEX the first time with 85 questions. I also used Exam Cram and The Saunders Cards. ( I will sell all three, if anyone is interested.) Colleen

When I was taking the Saunders practice exams and quizzes, I was scoring in the high 50s to high 70s. Your scores on the Saunders practice tests do not reflect how you'll perform on the NCLEX, because the passing standard for NCLEX is significantly lower. Most NCLEX test-takers manage to answer only about 50 percent of the questions correctly, while still managing to pass. Good luck to you!

I also did pretty bad with the quizzes and it did hurt my confidence but when I took the NCLEX-PN I pass the first time with 75 questions.

At first, I used to get scores in the 70's and as time went on, it went up to the 80s. Using the learning extension course, I used to get 40s and 50s, Kaplan; would get as low as 30s. I used to fret because it did shoot down my confidence. But, I just kept moving on. I passed the first time with 85 questions in 40 some odd minutes. Just keep answering and increase to where you are answering 205 questions. You need to simulate the endurance it would take to sit through 205 without becoming nervous. Good luck!

i got the low scores, too. (50-70%) pretty well killed my allready shaky confidence. passed the nclex anyway! don't worry about it. you'll do fine.
