Why not contact the ARC directly yourself?
Then you'd be able to meet directly a nurse that you know for sure actually works for the Red Cross

I agree that if you haven't already done so, you should contact your local American Red Cross chapter and inquire directly with them if one of their nurses would be willing to help you with your interview. Perhaps they will be willing to conduct an interview over the phone with you.

Your first step would be to contact your local Red Cross. Also be aware that it's entirely possible that you will come across a nurse who has never had to perform CPR on a person. The only nurses I've ever known who work for the Red Cross work at blood drives. Since people have to be healthy to donate blood, they're unlikely to come across a cardiac arrest there. First aid classes are also generally geared towards lay people. Many nurses have never taken a specific first aid classthemselves since first aid is basic and included in our education.
