Interview presentation

Hello

I am applying for a band 6 position, I have an interview on Monday 12th July.

Please could you someone help with how to answer this interview question. 10 minutes presentation.

" What do you think are the qualities and duties of a band 6 post within the outpatients and how would you apply these within the department?"

Please I need suggestions, comments and contributions before 6pm Sunday as the presentation is on Monday 12th in the morning.

Thanks for support.

Marcel, I knew not what a band 6 even was, but Googled it and found a great site with questions and answers.

I would post a link, but am unable to do so at this time.

Good luck!

Could you kindly explain what a "band 6 nurse position" Is? I have no clue.

It's part of the UK nursing structure.

@Marcel Adudu, since your question is specific to nursing in the UK, we have moved your thread to our UK forum for the best responses. You may find some assistance browsing through other topics in this area.

First thing is don't wait until less than 36 hours before you ask for help. If nothing else it shows a serious lack of either interest or preparedness. You should have looked at this at least a week ago and have some ideas.

Second, have a look around this particular part of Allnurses, there are plenty of people who have asked very similar questions (and received some good advice) on the UK forum. Look for interview help or Band 6 help in the listing.

What do you have planned? What are your thoughts? If you are going for a Band 6 you should know the department and the work involved. What does the job description say?

Hopefully I am not sounding too harsh, but you are coming over as expecting us to do the work for you.

Good luck to you but, having done presentations in the past, it takes more than a couple of days to prepare.

If that is your real name you should perhaps think about changing it on here as you never know if someone who is going to be interviewing you is reading this.
