I just got a call to come in for an interview, I have no nursing job experience and I emailed every one of my professors from school and got ONE reply, I dont know what to do, I need 3 I dont want to show up with nothing, that probably will automatically make them reject me. Do you have any idea what to do? I just got the call now, and its before 4pm I can try calling but I doubt there will be anyone at school right now, not to mention all of the clinical instructors dont even stay in school at all. Any ideas??

congrats on getting an interview. when is the interview? just explain to the recruiter that it will take time for the professors to give you one because school is back in session. they'll understand hopefully. or better yet go to your professors office in person. are u gonna be interviewing in a hospital?
Its a place that treats sex offenders who get out of jail so they don't relapse. I don't even remember applying there since Ive been filling out applications like crazy. Wish me luck

Can you give them your instructors school phone number or e-mail and let them call? I know thats not the best thing to do , but "in desperate times" etc etc-- or do you need actual letters?

bymysoultosqueezeRN,
Just wondered if you ever got a job? I hope so!!! I'm going to be graduating in May 2010. I'd be curious to see if you ever joined the IAFN or any other forensic nursing org. Please let me know (sorry i don't know how to send a pm on this site).
Would love to hear your status. Thanks.
