intermediate algebra and chem?

Do you think taking intermediate algebra and chemistry together is a bad idea? Or is it doable?

Depends...if you are strong in both areas I would do both. If you struggle with one or the other (or both) then I would take them separately. Only you know your academic strengths and weaknesses, therefore, only you know how to approach these courses.

good luck!

I'm taking both and oh boy I'm I struggling .. i currently have a C in chemistry which is horrible :-/... and i had to change my math for a pass or no pass so it wouldn't jeopardize my gpa any worst as its gonna do this C in chemistry .. I'm also taking english I volunteer and i got accepted as an internship in a hospital plus I work part time and I have a toddler .. so if you're a person like me then maybe it's best to separate those clases .. they are doable if you are strong on both courses .. good luck!! I'm gonna hate myself for my Chem grade ugh

In both colleges I took classes at (community college for pre-reqs and my LPN to RN college) Algebra was a pre-req for Chem. I wasn't able to do both at the same time.

I found that after doing the Algebra I found Chem more do-able since it required a lot of algebra type math for calculations and such.
