Your post has already been answered. And it is also dependent on if you took the CGFNS exam.
Question moved to International Forum where it is more appropriate since it deals with foreign educated nurse.
Not all states have an English requirement; since you already have a green card, then the Visa Screen Certificate is waived for you. However that is not to say that your employer will not require an English exam, many are doing so in certain areas.
You will find it much easier to find a postition if you have passed the NCLEX-RN exam.............much, much easier if you are looking for a hospital position. Most HR people will not speak to you if you do not have that already done.

A PRC license and passed TOEFL are required when a Filipino nurse applies for an interim permit in California.
CA BON , I think, do not consider the IELTS for the IP.

But to get the visa to work in the US, it requires the CGFNS exam be passed, if they have not taken the NCLEX exam yet.
That was my point............just about legally working in the US. CA BRN sends out letters about the IP to all that apply and even overseas, but they need to meet immigration requirements, and none was mentioned in this initial thread.
