hi!.. I am a Registered nurse here in the Philippines, graduated last march 2008, got my license sept 2008 and had a 6-month VOLUNTEER training in one of the govt hospitals here in our city. and would like to ask a help from all of you guys about this matter.. i would like to apply for an immigrant visa for Canada. what are the necessary requirements, fees and other stuffs that i need to prepare? please help me on what to do.. or if possible pls. give me a step-by-step process about applying for an immigrant visa.. thanks so much..

You should have posted in the International Forum.You need to contact the college of nursing in the province in which you want to work (you will find a sticky at the top of the Canadian Forum with the links).They will tell you how to proceed.Generally they require that you have a BSN for licensure in Canada.
For immigration issues you need to contact www.cic.gc.ca.
I am sure one of our moderators will move this to the right place.
