Info needed for PRC in PH

Published

hi everyone, i've been living in the us for over 6 mos now on a conditional permanent residence status. my problem started when i was informed by ca board of nursing that i need to get my license first in the ph before i could apply for the nclex board exams.

anyone who knows the latest policy about prc in ph and their requirements? i need to go back and take the local board exams this year 2008---hopefully. i really am quite disappointed since all my friends in ph were able to get their att in ca nclex even without having a local license. please help!!!

We have been seeing CA getting tighter on their requirements for licensure. And that is their choice. And we are also seeing it more and more. But it is only a state requirement at this time, and not federal requirement.

CA makes the final decision as to what they will do on a case by case review.

Does not matter what happened in the past, but what is happening now and they have put this more stringent rule into place this past January.

Moved this to the Philippine Forum since it is specific to the NLE exam.

If you are going to take the 2008 November NLE, you have to submit your application on or before October 17, 2008. The requirements are as follows:

  1. 2 pcs 2x2 ID pictures with you name
  2. Notarized copy of your delivery, assisted delivery, cord care, major operation and minor operation cases dry sealed by your school,
  3. NSO copy of your birth certificate, marriage certificate(if applicable),
  4. RLE hours dry sealed by the school too,
  5. ORIGINAL copy of your TOR with notation "for board exam purposes only" with your scanned picture,
  6. Residence certificate [please don't buy the ones that is being sold outside PRC; just went there today and some unlisted (from the roster of examinees outside the PRC gate) applicants were told that the reason they were excluded from the list is because their cedula is fake].

hope this helps.
