The NHS infection control e-learning package is being trialled in NSW (Australia). Love to here from NHS staff who have experienced this package. All the gory details please!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
It's mandatory in my Trust for all staff to complete it in the first 3 months in post. It's fairly basic, but covers the needed ground. As far as e-learning packages go I think it's not bad - not the worst I've seen by any stretch of the imagination...

We use it as well, it's OK but I do like face to face learning myself so don't like it, I feel a bit cheated by not having that contact
Is the package graded for different levels of clinicians and other workers in health care?

nt sure if we are all using the same.
but we have an e-learning for yearly manadrtory all but qualified staff is more indept.
Ours is the same for all grades of staff, covers handwashing, gel, basics of infection control really
