I recently got accepted into the nursing program. I was going to get all my titers and drug tests and my physical done by my physician, but then I found out that I'm still young enough to get all my work done by my Pediatrician. So, I'm going there because he knows my medical history best and pediatricians give TB tests for free, I think.
So...basically, he has my immunization records. Since he has all this documentation, is it still necessary for me to get titers or are my immunization records enough?

It depends on how long it has been since you've gotten the shots. I know my school wanted proof of immunization which required me to get boosters on a few of them. Get a copy of your records and have an advisor at your school double check to see what you will still need.

My doctor knew which ones needed to be updated based on when I got them. Just take your paperwork in, they'll know.

I gave my school my immunization records ( very old) but it does show that I am immunized and that's what they want to see.I had to get a TB test and also a tetorifice shot ( you need it every 10 years)

Depends on what our school needs. Would certainly seem easier to do it with your pediatrician if he has all your records right there. My school required us to show proof of varicella vaccination or titer. So even if you had a medical record that said you had chickenpox, they still wanted a titer to prove you are still immune to it.
