If you were an alternate...

How long did you have to wait from the time you were notified you were an alternate to the time you got "the call" or "the letter"? This waiting is killing me. My future is hanging in the balance....

They told me when the accepted candidates' responses were due. If you're going to get a spot that's probably the most likely time - when the accepted turn down their spots. Have they given you that info? I'm sure they would be willing to if not.

I have known students that have gotten accepted the second or third week of a program that has already started. If a student needs to drop for any reason, the spot opens up. And hoepfully, someone else can get it.

An alternate from UAB got a call the day before class started. She had to be there the next day.

I guess they can call you at any time.

That would be crazy - starting CRNA school after the program has already started!!! I would have to give my 2 weeks notice at work to go PRN. Does anyone know when Case's "acceptance" deadline is? I should just email them. I hate how my future is uncertain!
