I managed to stop the application and have subsequently done everything you need to do to report Identity Theft I have two questions and was hoping for some advice:1. Am I required to notify the BON?2. SHOULD I notify the BON?Your thoughts would be welcome........ thank you! Jan 1, 201412 yr I would most definetely call the BON!! Yikes, so sorry this has happend to you!! The person could, for all intent and purposes, get a duplicate RN license and start working as a nurse under your name!! Not meant as legal advice, per TOS, however, be sure you file a police report, let the fraud division of your bank know, and have your name flagged at the major credit agencies. Nightmarish. But be pro-active to nip this in the bud asap!
Jan 1, 201412 yr What a pain. I HATE this kind of crap. The worst part is the people are next to never caught or punished. Good luck sorting through this mess. I would give them a heads up.
Jan 1, 201412 yr Experts Call them immediately! AND call your malpracitce carrier! I had someone try to use my license once she went to jail
