Quite a few have and some friends graduated. You get licensed in Florida after NCLEX then Endorse it to California.

There are many California Nurses from ICHS.

Good to know thanks.. ..so many bad reviews about the school so I'm skeptical ...

Are the tests proctured at ICHS?  I have to do math and I hate math so I wanted to know how the algebra class is if anyone knows?

Hi am not sure about if math is proctored because that is just a prerequisite and is not part of the core program.
yes college Algebra is required.
all core nursing program classes including pharmacology and fundamentals utilize proctored exams. I would complete your prerequisite somewhere else because classes are expensive. I heard they accept straightliner prerequisites .

I took College Algebra there. Had Mr. Garcia. He was great. If I remember,  the exam was done in Procturio. But yeah, if you want cheaper, go somewhere else or through straighterline.

hi,

I did try doing the algebra through Straighterline and was able to use the photo math app to do the exams but once I did the final I did not pass since I don't remember any of that math at all....

so is the college algebra class easier to do with the school since I would be able to get help from the instructor ect?

The professor I had was awesome. Prepared us well for the exams.

I did algebra through StraighterLine and as long as you score high enough on the quizzes you don't need to pass the final to pass the class. You need an overall 75% for ICHS. I got a 70% the first time and re took the class in a day. It's worth trying again on StraighterLine.

OK thanks I will try again. Are you going to ICHS? what do you think of it if so?

Yes I'm heading into Capstone. It's a lot of work, but doable. I had to stop working to be able to focus on school. It's expensive but cheaper than a California school with no waiting list.
good luck to you.

Has anybody completed this program?  I am curious what the capstone is.  I am concerned about the clinical rotations too.  I heard from current students that sometimes they feel it's a waste to make the trip to Florida because a lot of the times, clinical are cancelled.  I would be fuming to waste all that money on a flight, hotel, food, transportation just for clinical to be cancelled.  I know they would probably make us go to campus and complete skills competency (simulation lab).  I personally would prefer clinical excursions because you can do that from a computer.  We had those in our LVN program when clinicals were cancelled. At that time, there really was no doing this at home.  We had to go to school to complete them there on computer.  What is your take on the clinical rotations and how long are you there for each rotation.
