what should I take to interview???

If you have the handbag (or whatever) for it, you might consider a few basic toiletries, such as a breath mint, antacids, asprin, etc. ... and maybe an extra pair of panty hose if appropriate. Those types of things could come in handy if you have to travel far or if you have to wait a while in the lobby before meeting with the interviewer, etc. You'll want to be comfortable and confident with how you feel and look.

Pen to sign forms.

Bottled water/book to read in case interviewer delayed in meeting.

If driving a distance, check car out night before gas, tires, oil/antifreeze, route to facility. Leave 15 min extra to allow for travel tie-ups.

During meeting:

Handshake on meeting interviewer and look em in the eye. Sit back in chair with erect posture and attempt to appear relaxed. If getting nervous, picture person in summer bathing suit.

Ask to see job description. Inquire type of benefits offered and when do they start.

Be prepared to answere question why you chose facility, what skills would you bring to the organization.

What is one negative thing others would say about you (question always seems to throw applicants).
