My I-140 application was approved last April 6, 2015 and my priority date is sept 10,2014. The current status of my case upon checking on uscis website is "my case was sent to department of state." I am so much worried that the priority date for May 2015 is July 2007. Will I be affected by retrogressed priority date? Thanks

Yes if your application isn't processed before 28 April 15
That's unfair.... Guides forms nvc based on what I read is they will process it as long as the i140 is approved the time they receive the case from uscis. But I really don't know the technicalities about it. Thanks for the answere. A week is very short for me until the 28th. But I already gave all necessary docs to my lawyer. So, can you give detailed steps regarding my case once my PD becomes current again? Please

Once you PD becomes current NVC will ask for up to date biographic information for yourself and any others that may be going with you.
Just want to ask again why dis NVC sent immigrant visa fee invoice? Sent may 7.... But my priority date is no longer current for May. Will NVC process my application?
Your invoice was probably sent before dates came out
april 6: i140 approved. April 17: case sent to dos. May 7: invoice date.
NVC will not process your application until your pd date is current, you now join a queue

Can anyone give the list of the documents the nvc requires (for the nurse, not the dependents), please?
Thanks
