K so.. my background >
1. My mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt all have hypothyroidism
2. I have a menstrual issue- I have a disease called Endometriosis.
3. I have a bicornuate uterus
4. I have bladder and kidney problems- I have UTI's basically all the time. I try taking medicine, but it always comes back.
5. I am on Ortho Cyclen Birth Control
MY PROBLEM:
I have absolutely no energy. It's been this way for the past year or so. I can't wake up without needing a nap an hour or two after I wake up. All I do all day is sit around. When I try gettin up and doing something it absolutely wears me out and I feel I need a nap even more. I get headaches all the time. My energy level has gotten even worse this past month ... to where when I get up and walk or stand up- I have to lean on something just to keep myself up. I get hotflashes all the time and I swear it's from my energy problem. If I can't get a nap I feel like crying.
--My diet isn't the best. But I have cut down on Caffeine. I barely drink caffeine. I have been eating breakfast lately, I eat maybe yogart or crackers w/ cheese for lunch, and then for dinner I eat just a regular dinner. I don't have a terrible diet, so I don't think that is the issue.
--I take vitamins daily. I have never stopped taking them. I take them with my birth control pills everyday!
--What is your opinion? I have to have the Depo Lupron shot in about a month because of my endometriosis, which is gonna make me feel absolutely worse. If it is hard for me to work or report to my daily schedule now, I think being in menopause is gonna kill my life. I need help!
--Last thing, my doctor tested my thyroid 3 months ago and said it was fine, but I think he made a mistake or something. My doctor is a wack! He was wrong about stuff, multiple times. So he isn't getting my trust too much anymore.

me thinks it's time for you to find a new doctor.
and when you do, you need to share your concerns with him/her.
we cannot give medical advice on this board.
be well.

Why would you go to a doctor you dont trust? After all, you are trusting them with you LIFE.
Ask around and get some recommendations if you dont know of someone else you'd like to see.
