I got a job!

I'm so happy everything is going right for me so far. I just got hired on as a stna at Hickory Creek nursing home here where I live and I'm so happy. I go for orientation tomorrow at 8:30 and I'll be working from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and every other weekend. I get benefits and everything so I'm happy. Now I'll be getting some experience. I told Interim I'll be quitting and they told me I should do two more weeks with them so they can give me good reference, but I don't need them for reference, and wasn't working there that long so I said screw them. Now I'll have money to pay my bills, I was behind on bills cause I wasn't making enough as a home health aid with them and I wasn't getting benefits. Now all I'm waiting on is for my last recommendation at Kettering college and to see if I get accepted into their school so I can start on my pre reqs.

Congrats on the job! I'm going to be doing my CNA clinicals there at Hickory Creek in a few weeks. I've heard it's a nice facility. :)
