It has been 24hrs since I completed the NCLEX RN on Friday. I am ready to vomit. I couldn't sleep the night before and I woke up at 2am today. I had 75q's but that means nothing. I worked so hard. I have a husband, and 2 children. This has been a journey for all of us and I don't want to let anyone down. I've been an LPN for six years and have been working at my current place for 5 years. The pressure to pass is getting to me. I just want to cry.

Take a deep breath.

I agree that this waiting is the worse feeling in the world.

Try to do something that requires getting out of the house and away from the computer today.

I remember feeling like this when I went from LPN to RN. I had 75 questions as well. Considering your nursing experience, 75 questions most likely means you passed. Let us know when you get the results. Now breathe...I'll bet you passed.

yes, i agree. it is one of the worst feelings in the world, and at the time, i'm sure it IS the worst feeling in the world. i went straight for my RN and bypassed the LPN. i also had only 75 questions, and i frantically started cursing (in my head) at the computer thinking there should be more. i took mine on a tuesday and found out that i passed wednesday evening. since you took yours yesterday, you might not have your results until late monday evening. i know a friend of mine that i graduated w/ took hers on a thursday and didn't get her results until the following monday. and i know there is a phone number you can call, and for a fee of like $7, you can get your results.

anyway, i know this is easier said than done, but relax. you made it through your LPN, you made it through the transition course LPN-RN. you will be fine. :) spend time w/ your family and uh, "try" to forget about it for awhile! ha! i should've given myself the same advice when i was waiting for my results!
