I finally did it!!

Well, y'all, I finally did it! I left the O.R. management job after uh...many years! I was offered a job with a huge cardiology office (over 70 docs) working 4 days/wk 8a.m. to 5 p.m. I'll be off every other Friday and Wednesday! I'm SO glad to be out of the craziness!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The salary is tolerable...some things aren't worth the money anymore! :D

Off every other Friday and Wednesday? I am SO jealous!

I've worked in a cardiology office for two years after health problems forced me out of CCU night shift. Part of me still misses critical care, but it is SO nice to work "normal people" hours, the stress level is very tolerable, and the money is well worth the improved quality of life.

It would be nice to have *some* weekday time off (I work M-F 7:30 - 4:30.) You are very fortunate to have that.

Congratulations! :yeah:

ebear...CONGRATULATIONS!
