I failed my first TEAS test: Need Advice

Nursing Students TEAS

Hey you guys, I took my TEAS test today and sadly I failed, 56%. I have the study book guide, I had 1 month to study but I admit I did not study hard :( now I'm so upset.

I did not have any problems with the Science part of exam, but I had a hard time on math part and a little on the reading part because of the limited time and I really sucked at solving problems in math..

I just need any advice, what if I failed again on my second try? Ughhh

Reread the whole ATI Guidebook..reread and understand everything. Get the Mcgraw Hill TEAS Practice Workbook. There are 5 tests in the book. Practice Practice Practice! For Math there is a guy on Youtube who goes through every page of the math section. Every single page and question, in order. His name is Keshwani Prep. He's awesome. Good Luck!

You just said it yourself....you did not study enough. You should have known the rule for the school you are in whether or not you are even allowed a second attempt. Every program is different. Make that call today to find out. MY school, you can take it once, if you fail, you can take it again after 7 days, then not again for 4 months. (that would put me out of the program until late Summer).

Congrats on the science part btw! That is the only part I failed (by 6% ugh) and I 'thought' I studied enough..lol... So go through these forums, find the great links to the youtube videos (Keshwani Prep for math) and study, study, study. You can do it! Good luck!

I am taking my in 2 weeks but am studying like it is the nclex. For maths, I use this guy on YouTube called Keshwani. He goes through the maths problem and practice problem step by step. I wish u Success in the next one
