I dont know.....

I dont know should I reschedule my exam.its coming up really soon. Ive been putting in alot of time in studying. I mean ALOT. Ive been doing all types of practice questions ranging from saunders to kaplan. My highest score in kaplan is a 58% but my highest in the exam cram cd is 75%. The highest is a 80% in saunders.My avg is in the 60 in my practice tests. I was told a 58% in kaplan gives me a 67% chance of passing the nclex but when I seen the score list,i would be in the 80s. Im so confused. Im really working my butt off but is my level of understanding good enough.

    Well....I say take it. You never know, you may pass. If you dont, then u will be a little bit wiser for the next time. I didnt feel at all prepared and wanted to reschedule. People kept telling me "you willl never feel prepared", "nothing can prepare you for the nclex". Not to mention that my husband would have flipped his lid had I rescheduled. So I went ahead and took the exam. Totally felt like i failed. Got home and did the PVT, got the good pop up. So you just never know.

    Well said, people will never feel prepared. As long as you know your patient safety and some content base you should be okay. The test is only testing you for minimum competency.

    Don't re-schedule! I was getting scores just like you only I did the learningext review course on ncsbn. I passed with about 100 questions. You will NEVER feel prepared for the exam, but you will be fine. You made it through nursing school, therefore you can pass the NCLEX. That's what I kept telling myself. Good luck!

    Thanx soooo much. My fiance is keeping me motivated with the exam not to mention all of you..im so nervous..I had a friend who did learningext...she loved it. Im scared because my date is REALLY soon..I think I fried my brain.. For the past month ive been on it for hours including tonnnsss of questions..Im kinda ready for this to be over. My feelings are everywhere.lol

    based on what you said I think you're fine to take exam for some reassurance you can compare you scores to a bunch of others .. erm i was obsessing over scores for 2 months so collected a bunch of my own and shared it here. LINK: kaplan scores vs. nclex pass rates. Confidence booster: Your Name, R.N. and YOU CAN DO IT! write this on a sticky note and stick it where you can see it while studying and such. GOOD LUCK

    I thank you SO much. Ive been through the impossible while being in nursing school.and I made it. This will be,my final step until I continue my ed. I thank u again..
