35 hrs and counting

Happy Saturday evening for those that aren't faced with the inevitable,

I have less than 35hrs til test time (Round 2) and I am a nervous wreck. This is my second time taking the Nclex PN after 205 questions and I wanna believe that I have exhausted all areas of studying. Yet, as the time draws near I feel that I haven't studied enough. I do admit that I didn't study half as much the 1st time. But to be faced with the entire content all over again is killing me. I had only 1 below passing standard area and that was in Safety and Infection Control. Everything else was Near or Above Passing Standards which such bc what does that really mean? I wanna believe that I am now a master of this area. I have read and reread both Exam Cram & Saunders Comprehensive Review but I wake up in the middle of the night remembering stuff that I had the first time then anxiety starts all over again. For the past week I have been doing countless hours of review ques & reading the rationales. But is that enough? I have read alot of comments telling ppl to relax the day before but I'm scared to put these books on the shelf.

Please help me see the light, advice me of what else I could do.

Wow, you are in a near panic. What will do you the most good is to calm down. If you are in cramming mode, then you won't retain. It sounds like you are more than ready for the test. You need to put the books down and put them out of sight. You know this stuff and at this point you will be second guessing yourself.

Go out, do what works the best to make you happy. Go for a walk, play with a dog, whatever! I always do better on tests if I go in relaxed.

Good luck.

I know it's hard, but you really do need to relax the day before! The night before get some take out and watch your favorite movie! Go to bed early and try to get some rest! You don't want to burn yourself out with questions the day before your test! Good Luck, your gonna do great!!
