How soon after receiving ATT did you schedule NCLEX?

I got my ATT Yesterday and scheduled my test for this Saturday. Anyone do this, and do fine? Not that I am basing my success off of anyone else, it's just that everyone waits weeks and months before scheduling the exam to prepare. I practiced nclex style questions and completed several review books with questions over the course of nursing school (bought saunder's comp. Nclex review before I started program and used a book along with studying for class exams for every test, from several different books). My school also implemented ATI for an exit exam after every class, the ATI diagnostic tests, required us to pass hesi with a 900 ( I scored 1096) in order to graduate, and made us take 2 mandatory NCLEX review (Kaplan and the Marian Sides review). I feel like all I've done is Nclex style questions from day one, so why wait weeks more just to practice more question, right? I posted a similar post yesterday but didn't get alot of feed back so I am trying it again today. My plan is to finish the last 2 question trainers for Kaplan, and if I score at least 60% as suggested, I will proceed with my scheduled test date. What do you guys think? (sorry so long)

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I received my ATT on April 13th and tested on May 11th. So, I allowed roughly four weeks to elapse between the date that I was issued the ATT and the actual NCLEX test date.

It's different strokes for different folks. If you wish to test sooner, then go for it by all means.

I got my ATT and scheduled the NCLEX for 10 days later. I would have done it sooner, but the test center was booked until then :nurse:

Most people immediately schedule their tests to get the time frame they are shooting for. They might put it off for awhile, if they know they are too far from being ready, or are just engaged in a little bit of denial.
