How much, is too much??

I have been searching for a nursing program for over the last month, I live in Chicago, Il and it is extremely hard to find a nursing program that fits my lifestyle. The lifestyle of a wife, mother, full time worker. My schedule at work doesn't necessarily accomodate with going to school. Since I get off at 5pm its hard to find a program after those hours I'm not really sure anyone offers it in Chicago, if somebody knows of such program I'm begging please let me know!! Fortunately there is a school that offers the classes at 5 pm and I was thinking of arranging something at work ( which I'm probably going to have to do). I don't know much about the school its northwestern institute of health and technology if someone could give me some info about that school I would highly appreciate it! The tuition is a bit high Is around 15,000 I wanna know if this is ridiculosly high or is it fair? I don't know much about nursing school and would like to know some of your opinions! At this point I will sacrifice my budget and get a loan of some sort to get my dream started! Is this a good invention? Please I need lots of advise!

Well, some people might cough and spit their coffee across the computer screen when they discover that I paid $20,000 in tuition for the LPN/LVN program that I attended 3 years ago. I know there are significantly cheaper LPN programs in existence, but what I paid is well worth it to me. I paid for the convenience of having no waiting lists, prerequisite classes, or entrance exams. Additionally, I earned the tuition money back in less than 6 months of working as an LVN.

Good luck to you!

Im taking an entrance exam to attend school in the fall.

They have two different programs. Day full time 8:30 am - 3 and for two years you can go part time and attend class from 6-10pm it is through an adult boces program it costs 15K, Im not sure if that is too high but I know the schedules they offered where perfect for me. Im a single mom and work just to pay the bills (sometimes cant even pay them lol) .....but I think the reward is well worth it for my lil one. Hope this helps.
